The Valley Demo V1.8
A downloadable game
The Valley is a short 10-15 minute game demo made for my Final Major Project for my final year of university. It is made with the intention to be played with a controller for an exhibition.
You find yourself in 'The Valley' after you were exploring a cave and fell down with no way back up. You now have to survive until you manage to find a way to get back out. This demo takes you through the very beginning of the game where you rebuild a broken down shack and make it into your temporary home.
The game is currently made as an idea and a 'test' to see if the idea and features for the real game that I will be making in the future, is something that I want to make.

the low poly style makes the gameplay feel more relaxing as it doesn't feel overwhelming and I can just sit back and take it in at a nice pace. I also really like having to find the pieces of wood around the place as it gives more reason for exploration :)
